My life with Sheean

Ok This Is the way things have gone. Back In 04 My son had turned 18 and moved back east. So I had the empty nest syndrome thing going on. So I had been looking Into getting a puppy. I searched all over the US of A trying to find one. I finally found a breeder In Iowa that was having a litter In November. I sent off my money and In January I took a road trip with my husband in our diesel truck. We got loads after loads. We went threw a blizzard freezing fog. That was In Colorado. Then In Texas we ran Into tropical down pours. And then In Alabama we were unloading and a tornado started up right on us. Our truck was damaged. It was well over $2500. Still haven't got that fixed. And then when we got to Iowa which I thought we'd NEVER get there. It was -20 I'm from warm weather. NOT 20 below 0. What Is WRONG with these people. Living In such a cold place. OKAY So were at this farmers house and he takes us out to the barn to see my baby. AWAY she was SO cute. Floppy little ears cute little thing. Off we go. We get to Des Moines Iowa. And Its warmed up a little. Its only 7 below 0. We get a motel and take my new baby Into the room. She was just so cute. Cute was full of SO much engery. If she wasn't going 100 mph then she was sleeping. Boy was she cute when she was sleeping.

I took over 2500 pictures of her threw her short life. She lived until the age of 6 months. Then this Is what happened. It was the first time she had ever been to the beach and on the way home........
My Australian Cattle Dog was killed by jumping out the window. I had ALL ways put her seat belt on her. It was a harness type... But the ONE time I didn't because I was only going a mile or two she jumped out the window and a car was coming the other way and just nicked her and I had to put her down because of a massive head injury. I was only going 25 mph when this happened She was my BABY. She was only 7 months old. I got to sing to her while they put her down. I had bumper stickers made with her picture on It saying "

SEAT BELTS DO SAVE LIVES THE LIFE YOU SAVE MAY BE THE LIFE OF YOUR DOG."

I have a new baby. Her name Is Scrubby Creeks Shannon. I call her Shee-Ann. I have had more fun with this little girl. She Is a Uni. Meaning she Is deaf In her left ear. BUT As long as there Is no wind she can hear me just fine. I got to pick from two puppies. #7 or #8. I chose #8. Well that was the best choice I could of ever picked. I have shown her like 4 times and In those 4 times she has become a IBECA International Puppy Champion. I have so many medals and ribbons. She has taken reserve three times and In this last show she got her first two points. And she took a group two In herding group. There were 8 other 6 to 9 months old In the ring with me. I have NEVER done anything like this In my life. I have had NO training. I just watch what other people do and do the same thing. More to follow as I have the time...........
